Helping out at The Albert Hall for The Sunflower Jam

The Sunflower Jam is all about raising money to get more doctors, carers and support for children with cancer.

The recent event saw The Royal Albert Hall transformed, for one night, by raising the auditorium floor close to the level of The Grand Loggia boxes to help create a large dance floor right in front of the stage. It also becomes central London’s largest dining room, seating up to 2,000 diners.

Guests were be welcomed with a champagne reception followed by a fantastic supper, catered by Paul Clerehugh from the Crooked Billet and Rhubarb. Event Hire supplied equipment to Rhubarb for the event.

The UK’s number one dance team from Pineapple Dance Studios were there along side some wonderfully weird acts while Jeremy Irons hosted the evening.

Acts included Rik Wakeman, Jon Lord, Joe Bonamassa, Newton Faulkner, Danny Bowes, Deep Purple & Special Guests.

The BITC ( Business In The Community) Awards Gala Dinner also took place at the Royal Albert Hall where Event Hire also provided some equipment.
