The London International Wine Fair 2015 opens today and runs until the 20th May.
Event Hire is the official supplier to the show, providing a staggering 50,000 ISO Tasting Glasses to the show.
The focus of the Fair is very much on discovery: new wines and spirits, new producers, emerging countries and regions, new vintage releases, seminars, debates and masterclasses make LIWF the perfect trade event.
Some 700 exhibitors take part in the Wine Fair. From many of the world’s leading brand owners, to individual producers collectively displaying over 10,000 wines from every corner of the world. Largely split into country pavilions and import agencies, there’s much to explore.
From 2015, the London Wine Fair will introduce an annual celebration of two grape varieties – one well-known and widely planted, the other less so; one red and one white. Launching the initiative with Syrah and Grüner Veltliner, the Fair will act as a platform providing tailored content to celebrate each variety.
The recent rise of craft beer’s popularity has been remarkable in the UK, with many retailers and restaurateurs reporting double digit growth from the category. Brewhouse presents 40 of the UK’s finest craft brewers in a dedicated area, with accompanying speakers, debate and presentations in our beer theatre ‘The Hopsack.’
New to the Fair for 2015, Wines Unearthed is an area dedicated to wine producers looking for UK representation. Participating wineries have no UK importer and should be export ready. Around 50 producers are expected to take part.
